International Cooperation Activities
Cybercrime threat, not only in Japan but worldwide as well, has been growing at an alarming rate year by year. In order to help eradicate cybercrime, LAC has been actively participating in international cooperation through human resource development by inviting overseas trainees and joining international conferences to share information on the latest cyber security trends.
With the development of the Internet and IT technology, our lifestyle has become more and more advanced and convenient. On the other hand, cybercrime has been causing serious damage such as illegal remittance by targeting Internet banking, exploitation of credit card information, delaying or shutting down IT infrastructure and others, and seriously impacting the economy as well.
While there is a need for cyber security measures to be urgently implemented worldwide, at the same time, in some countries, countermeasures against cybercrime cannot be fully aligned due to the lack of educational environment for implementing safe and reliable cyber security services.
Based on LAC's accumulated experience, knowledge and know-how, we strive to contribute in training security professionals who could help construct a safe cyber space. In addition, by joining international conferences, we are able to promote cooperation with other countries and share information on the latest cyber security trends.
