LAC Co., Ltd. (TSE: 3857) today released its Financial Results for the Year Ended March 31, 2022.
Summary of Financial Results
Net Sales
Net sales came to 42,660 million yen (down 2.4% year on year) on weaker sales in the System Integration Services (SIS) business partly due to the impact of the transfer of a business of a subsidiary in the IT maintenance services sub-segment, which offset sales growth in the Security Solutions Services (SSS) business mainly due to increased product and consulting sales.
Operating Income
Operating income was 1,595 million yen (down 24.7% year on year) due to sales capability reinforcement and other initiatives aimed at business expansion.
Net Income Attributable to Owners of Parent
Net income attributable to owners of parent came to 1,401 million yen (up 359.8% year on year) as a result of a gain on the sale of subsidiary shares and gain on the sale of investment securities, both booked as extraordinary income.
